A & E Bath and Shower Una Acrylic 71" Premium Oval Freestanding Tub (NO FAUCET INCLUDED)

We decided to remodel our bathroom and I can say with certainty that this bathtub gives the bathroom a completely different look. I wanted to buy a classic bathtub but my wife insisted so 'we' decided to buy it haha. The bathtub really looks great. This is the second time I bought something from A&E and my second 5 star review for those guys

It has been a year since we bought this tub, we purchased it when we updated our current bathroom and needed something that would look amazing but also fit our budget. After looking and looking I stumbled on this website and knew I had to have the Una. A lot of free standings have the classic claw foot tub kinda feel, but not A&E brands, and definitely not this one. Now that we are about to build a master suite onto our house, I am already looking at buying one of the corner tub options from here. The installation is strait forward and the bathtub is holding up very well. So looking forward to purchasing from them again.

The una is beautiful. From the moment it arrived we were stunned. The pictures on the website just dont do it justice, and I wish there was a place to upload pics of the finished tub installed. The attached faucet and pull out shower are great, all though we have a separate shower so I have not used the shower as an actual shower yet, but it still feels nice to rinse during your bath. Our contractor handled installation like a pro, and with the help of customer support, any questions he did have were handled.

I think what drew me to this tub more than any of the others is not only the size, but the thickness of the edges. it gives this tub such a clean look that I knew it was the one. My husband was skeptical, but he is happy now that it is installed. Installation was not as easy as some of the other reviews on here, my husband ended up putting bricks under the tub to hold it up so he could get drain attached. But other than that slight hang up, delivery was fast and easy, the cost is spot on for others like it, and it looks fabulous. We are very pleased with this purchase.

I have not yet installed the tub, but it looks wonderful. Great finish, took a few days longer to get than anticipated, but that's not a problem since we are still waiting for the plumber to install the tub. The faucet came in a separate box and it looks very modern. Our décor is satin nickel, so we will replace the faucets and handles. Installing on second floor, the drain has a metal tailpipe extending to just below the base, so installation will be to fit the p-trap at the correct height and location with a slip joint (just like those for sinks) above the floor. Set the tub on 4x4's, reach under to fit the drain just into the p-trap extension. Drop the tub carefully and the tailpipe will drop down into the p-trap further via the slip joint. I found this method on the internet after a thorough search trying to figure out how to install this. Other comments indicate plumbers could not figure this out, and had to cut an access panel on the back of the tub, which is o.k. I guess, but why destroy the integrity of the tub. Water fittings will be above the floor with quarter turn faucets under the skirt, flex lines to the faucet on the edge of the tub. Waterproof floor with redguard, everything is above the flooring so any leaks will not penetrate the floor. So far pleased with purchase, and definitely a great price when compared to the other online retailers.
